The 2020 Newfoundland and Labrador Summer Games, which were scheduled to be held in Bay Roberts from August 15-22, have been postponed due to concerns related to the COVID-19 global pandemic.

We are very excited to announce that Cycling has been added to the Newfoundland & Labrador Summer Games roster for 2020.

Athletes ages 11 – 18 may have the opportunity to participate in Mountain Biking or Road Biking representing their regional teams.

Paracycling as also been added as a demonstration sport. For more information regarding Para-athletes please contact: paracycling@bicyclenl.com

Bicycle Newfoundland & Labrador have appointed a NL Games Coordinator to help regions in their identification of coaches, team selection process, and work with the Host and Sport NL to offer the races during the 1st half of competition (Aug. 15th to 17th, 2020).

Information for Coaches:

Each Region (identified coaching staff) will be responsible for providing BNL with their selection process for approval, hosting regional try-out, and have team(s) selected by the end of June 2020. Individuals interested in coaching should please contact BNL.

Information for Athletes:

Athletes must be ages 11 to 18 by Dec. 31st, 2020 to be considered for NL Games 2020.

Each region will be permitted a Cross Country Mountain Bike Team (4 Male, 4 Female & 2 Para) and a Road Bike Team (4 Male, 4 Female & 2 Para). Para-athletes should contact BNL: paracycling@bicyclenl.com
