Bicycle Newfoundland and Labrador is pleased to announce the Pouch Cove Classic for 2022
When: May 8th, sign-in at 08:00 - race starts at 09:00.
The Pouch Cove Spring Classic is a circuit race, on a 27km loop. Participants will ride one loop (in the ‘C’
category), two loops (in the ‘B’ category) or three loops (in the ‘A’ category).
From the start/finish line at the Bauline Line Sports Complex, participants will ride west on Bauline Line,
turning right onto Pouch Cove Line, then right onto Main Road which becomes Pouch Cove Highway and
eventually Route 20, then right onto Bauline Line.
The race is held on ‘open’ roads, and that rules of the road must be followed at all times. As this is a classic road race format, not a time trail, no TT bars permitted. Bikes will be checked at the start line and you will not be allowed to race unless these can be removed.
This event is a Canada Games Selection Event for Men born between 2001 and 2006 and Women born 1999 or later. If you've never raced before finish well, you could be in with a chance!
